The Pierre Fabre Group, a French pharmaceutical and dermo cosmetic group, began its international journey by opening its Spanish subsidiary Pierre Fabre Ibérica in 1970.

The group currently has production units, research centres and innovation centres in 45 countries.

In the pharmaceutical field, oncology is a key priority for the group. It also offers medicines to improve the lives of patients, prevent or cure sore throats, digestive disorders, iron deficiency, urology, diabetes, allergies and respiratory conditions. It also offers solutions for oral hygiene and care, phytotherapy, aromatherapy and food supplements. In the dermocosmetic field, it offers solutions for skin and hair care, under the brands Eau Thermale Avène, A-DERMA, Ducray, Klorane, Galénic, Elancyl, Darrow, Glytone

In Spain they have a structure of 480 employees, a fact that, added to their wide product portfolio, constitutes a complex IT structure.

What need did you have when you hired us?

We needed to automate a hard process that consumed a lot of our resources:

Budget tracking at product level.

GESISA developed a software for us, a detailed budget control system, which allowed us to follow everything from the product to the brand, including the product ranges.

This system gave us a lot of power when creating budgets and their monthlyization, since, thanks to GESISA, we were able to 100% automate a completely manual process, saving time that we could dedicate to carrying out actions of much greater value.

We had this system for about ten years, until we had to implement a new ERP at group level, dispensing with all the parallel adaptations that the subsidiaries had until then.

In addition, GESISA developed other software for us, such as the publication of the price system through a website, so that customers could access the updated prices without having to wait for the publication of catalogues or flyers
